This '55 Chevy has been in our family since it was bought new in 1955. We have just finished the restoration on it. The whole process has taken us 6 long years, but it has been worth the wait. We took it down to Cocoa Beach, FL for the Chevy Classic Winter Nationals and we really had a good time. The car took 1st place in the Custom Trailered Class, 1st place in the Junior Judging, and earned a Platinum Certificate scoring 994 points out of a possible 1000 points. That was a real thrill for us! We plan to take it to Myrtle Beach for the Run to the Sun Car Show next month.

1967 Chevelle SS 396 4-speed
Zeb's first car was a yellow '67, and when the opportunity to own this one came up, we brought it home. It was the first muscle car we bought. What memories!
Such fun to drive!

1967 GTO 400 4-speed
This is our next project. We came across this GTO when the person who helps us with our farm books saw our '71 Chevelle and she told us her husband had a red car sort of like that under a shelter at their house and she thought he wanted to sell it. The rest is history... we went and saw the car, bought it, and brought it home. We have rebuilt the motor, and this car drives like a dream!! Sometime soon we hope to start on the body work. The car is as straight as an arrow. The color scheme we've picked out is triple black. It should be a beauty when it's done. We'll keep you posted on this "goats" progress!
1972 El Camino
This El Camino is 100% original and complete. It was bought from the original owner and the original spare is still in the car. In this picture the tires and wheels are different, but we have the original ones stored in the barn. The interior is immaculate. This was truly one of those once in a lifetime "Barn Finds"!
1931 Model A Ford Victoria
This car has been in our family over 50 years. The original owner was the Depot Agent in Oak city, NC, and Zeb, Sr. bought the car from him. The restoration was started in the 60's with a rebuilt engine from Sears and Roebuck. We still have the original motor that was in it. The car ended up taking 2nd place to family and farming interests and stayed in the barn until the early 2000s, when the frame off restoration was started. It took about 2 or 3 years to complete.
It's a fun car to drive!

1935 Ford 5 Window Coupe
Zeb's Mom and Dad had a '35 just like this one. It was the first car they had. When Zeb's Dad (Zeb, Sr.) heard about this car he made a trip to Maine to bring it home to NC. It had the original interior and other than being painted once, the car is original. We have rebuilt the engine and are in the process of updating the interior. Zeb, Sr. still drives this car. He will be 91 this November!

1919 Ford Model T Depot Hack
This Depot Hack was built from a 1919 Model T chassis. Zeb Sr. was born in 1919, so it has a real sentimental meaning to him. Zeb, Sr. and Peter Alston (who worked on the farm for us then) drove this car to the Outer Banks and back. They caused quite a stir down there. They had their picture taken and had a write up about them in the local paper. This Model T has been used by the 4-H, and has carried many a dignitary in local Christmas Parades. In July of 2008 it had a special duty when it was selected to be the "get-away car" for our daughter and her husband at their wedding!
