This '55 Chevy has been in our family since it was bought new in 1955. We have just finished the restoration on it. The whole process has taken us 6 long years, but it has been worth the wait. We took it down to Cocoa Beach, FL for the Chevy Classic Winter Nationals and we really had a good time. The car took 1st place in the Custom Trailered Class, 1st place in the Junior Judging, and earned a Platinum Certificate scoring 994 points out of a possible 1000 points. That was a real thrill for us! We plan to take it to Myrtle Beach for the Run to the Sun Car Show next month.February 24, 2010
